SMART Board interactive whiteboard is a new facility and technique that can be used in teaching and learning process in school. It is also can attract student during the teaching process. It is because it helps energize presentations and motivate learners. Combining the simplicity of a whiteboard with the power of a computer, the SMART Board interactive whiteboard engages students.

Reflection:


First time I saw the SMART Interactive Whiteboard during the first class, I thought that it maybe just only the ordinary and usual whiteboard like the other. But i know that there must be a bit different compare to the rest. I think we do not need to learn how to use it from specific class just to learn how to use it if that whiteboard is similar to the whiteboard that i seen before.

When our lecturer starts to give briefing and introduction about the interactive whiteboard, i found that it will be interesting to use it. The Interactive whiteboards are different because it has a touch-sensitive display that connects to our computer and digital projector to show our computer image.

For the next class, our tutor hand us an assignment about how to use it to increase our understanding, skills and able to control it. For the first time for our presentation, it seem that all of us are excited to present our work. But personally for me, I am so nervous because that was my first time. I guess that my other classmates also the same. First time I used it, i do not really get to used it. But, after the few presentation and with our helpful tutor, all of us able to use and handle it properly. Especially that we have to put back the whiteboard pen on its normal place before we can use the touch display.

Besides that, the most interesting about Interactive White Board are about the content itself. The interactive and movable animation in the library or maybe the one that been uploaded can increase someone interest and understanding about that topic. It will useful for us as a future teacher. For me myself, I never get bored to learn and study when it was related to Interactive Whiteboard because there are always fresh and new ideas that we can develop well to help me for my preparation to be a good teacher in the future.
